On the return journey from Milford Sound back to Te Anau, your guide will drop you to the Milford Airport and check you in to your helicopter flight (weather permitting). Taking off to the west, tracking past the world famous Mitre Peak, before turning towards Mt Tutoko, the tallest mountain in Fiordland, and experiencing a glacier landing before heading down through mountain valleys, across Gertrude Saddle before landing to meet your Mercedes coach again for the final hour of your day tour.
