This tour is a completely unique and exclusive way to experience Milford Sound from Queenstown, breaking up the journey into three days with two nights stay in Te Anau (accommodation not included in this specific package), including the famous Eanslaw Steamship cruise, Walter Peak High Country Station, a buffet lunch and experiencing the untouched Von Valley - a magnificant valley drive that no other tour operator offers. Includes our popular 5-star rated Milford Sound Tour.

Accommodation Information

  • Guests are responsible for arranging their own accommodation in Te Anau. 
  • Luxe Tours will drop you off to your accommodation, and pick you up on day two & three.
  • Accommodation must be within the Te Anau boundary as you see it on Google Maps. Please check with us if in doubt.

Day One:

  • 45min Earnslaw Steamship crossing from Queenstown to Walter Peak. Guests are invited to bring their luggage with them (Up to one large bag/suitcase per guest)
  • 1.5-hour Walter Peak buffet BBQ lunch. 
  • 30-min Sheep shearing show & experience. 
  • Board your Luxe Tours high end luxury Mercedes van, limited to 10-guests only for ultimate comfort. Extra wide seat, Extra spacious legroom.
  • Drive from Walter Peak to Te Anau, via the Von Valley - a magnificent high country valley with steep mountains, raveens, river crossings and come up close and personal with real working farms & station livestock as we travel. 
  • We stop at several beautiful photo & nature locations with unparalleled views.
  • By 5:30pm, your driver will drop you off to your accommodation (guests responsible for this).
Day Two:
  • Experience our 5-star rated Milford Sound Tour from Te Anau including up to 11 photo/nature/rest stops, a 2-hour Milford Sound cruise and all our comforts and service we provide such as morning tea. 
  • Guided by your local expert guide.
  • Return to your accommodation by 5:30pm.

Day Three:

  • Departure from Te Anau mid-morning and return to Walter Peak Station via the Von Valley, offering a much different perspective in the opposite direction. 
  • Delicious snack platter included to enjoy at Walter Peak and time time to explore the homestead. 
  • Return to Queenstown aboard the Earnslaw cruise, arriving 2:30pm.
